How to create a simple gallery in an article

Those of you with slower download speeds may have noticed how quickly the images on this page loaded. That's because I reduced their byte size. I used a professional image editor but if you dont have one you can do it just as easily HERE where you can also easily crop the images to size.
HOW DID I DO IT?
The news page is 900px wide so I scaled the large image widths to 900px.
I uploaded all the images to the server using the news-page editor.
I added the images and text to the page using the news-page editor.
